Schools Health

The School Health Department trains students at the bachelor’s degree level to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to address the health needs of schools. This includes raising health awareness, fostering positive attitudes, changing behaviors, and facilitating access to health services for students. The program also emphasizes the importance of engaging students, parents, and school staff in health-related decision-making processes.

Goals



The primary aim of the School Health Department is to enhance the health of students, their parents, and teachers by providing comprehensive health education and services.

Mission



The mission of the School Health Department is to train students who are aware of current scientific issues in school health and are responsible and sensitive to the health needs of students. Graduates will provide health services to students, parents, and teachers, ultimately turning schools into health-promoting institutions.

Vision



Graduates of the School Health program will possess multidimensional knowledge and skills in public health, enabling them to act as healthcare providers and transform every school into a health-promoting environment
